« Everything was perfect. It was home away from home. Lacking nothing . The views were amazing and so cozy. The Host went out of their way to be extra nice. Even filling the fridge with milk, orange juice, eggs and snacks. I would book again and suggest anyone who is staying in Mathews to do the same. Thank you so much. »

« We had a lovely weekend stay at this inviting cozy cottage. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and enjoying the views. The beach was perfect for wading and given more time I would have gone swimming. My husband enjoyed kayaking in the surrounding waters. The quiet island atmosphere was just what we wanted and we will return. »

« Bayfront Escape is just beautiful inside and out! There are gorgeous views from every room, as well as from the front and backyards. If only there was any fish during our stay, it would’ve been our best vacation home ever. We didn’t get a single bite all week, but the gorgeous scenery all around us still made our stay very enjoyable. We had a great time sitting on the deck with its expansive views. We really enjoyed our time on the pier as well as the dock in the woods. The little sandy beach...

« We enjoyed our stay. Home was clean with good A/C and the bay breeze also nice outside. My wife really loved the sunrise. The island is a nice quiet get away spot, but still within 10-40 min. or so of some nice small town's or a day trip to York / Williamsburg. Very nice sandy beach, just would have liked access to a small rake for the pine needles. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. »
